Exodus 12:13-15

13 The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are.[a] When I see the blood, I will pass over you. So there will be no plague among you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.
14 “This day is to be a memorial for you.[b] You are to keep it as a feast to Adonai. Throughout your generations you are to keep it as an eternal ordinance. 15 For seven days you are to eat matzot, but on the first day you must remove hametz from your houses,[c] for whoever eats hametz from the first day until the seventh day, that soul will be cut off from Israel.

13 The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over(A) you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.(B)
14 “This is a day you are to commemorate;(C) for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord—a lasting ordinance.(D) 15 For seven days you are to eat bread made without yeast.(E) On the first day remove the yeast from your houses, for whoever eats anything with yeast in it from the first day through the seventh must be cut off(F) from Israel.
