^28 (A)So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights. He neither ate bread nor drank water. And he ^(B)wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.^[a]

^13 (A)And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, that is, ^(B)the Ten Commandments,^{[a] (C)}and he wrote them on two tablets of stone.

³ So I made an ark ^(A)of acacia wood, and ^(B)cut two tablets of stone like the first, and went up the mountain with the two tablets in my hand. ⁴ And ^(C)he wrote on the tablets, in the same writing as before, the Ten Commandments^{[a] (D)}that the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire ^(E)on the day of the assembly. And the Lord gave them to me.
