Ecclesiastes 8:11

¹¹Because ^(A)the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, ^(B)the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.

New International Version

¹¹When the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, people’s hearts are filled with schemes to do wrong.

¹¹Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

²¹I gave her time to repent, but ^(A)she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.

²¹I have given her time^(A) to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling.^(B)

²¹And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
