¹² The Lord alone led^(A) him;^(B)
    no foreign god was with him.^(C)

¹³ He made him ride on the heights^(D) of the land
    and fed him with the fruit of the fields.
He nourished him with honey from the rock,^(E)
    and with oil^(F) from the flinty crag,
¹⁴ with curds and milk from herd and flock
    and with fattened lambs and goats,
with choice rams of Bashan^(G)
    and the finest kernels of wheat.^(H)
You drank the foaming blood of the grape.^(I)

¹⁵ Jeshurun^[a](J) grew fat^(K) and kicked;
    filled with food, they became heavy and sleek.
They abandoned^(L) the God who made them
    and rejected the Rock^(M) their Savior.

⁶ Surely your goodness and love^(A) will follow me
    all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.

⁷ Do not remember the sins of my youth^(A)
    and my rebellious ways;^(B)
according to your love^(C) remember me,
    for you, Lord, are good.^(D)

¹⁶ Answer me, Lord, out of the goodness of your love;^(A)
    in your great mercy turn to me.
