² Do not add^(A) to what I command you and do not subtract^(B) from it, but keep^(C) the commands^(D) of the Lord your God that I give you.

¹⁸ because you obey the Lord your God by keeping all his commands that I am giving you today and doing what is right^(A) in his eyes.

⁷ “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey^(A) all the law^(B) my servant Moses^(C) gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left,^(D) that you may be successful wherever you go.^(E)

¹⁸ I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll:^(A) If anyone adds anything to them,^(B) God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.^(C)

¹⁹ And if anyone takes words away^(A) from this scroll of prophecy,^(B) God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life^(C) and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
