²⁴ Every place where you set your foot will be yours:^(A) Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River^(B) to the Mediterranean Sea.

⁸ If the Lord your God enlarges your territory,^(A) as he promised^(B) on oath to your ancestors, and gives you the whole land he promised them, ⁹ because you carefully follow all these laws I command you today—to love the Lord your God and to walk always in obedience to him^(C)—then you are to set aside three more cities.

¹⁴ Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you^(A) will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south.^(B) All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.^[a](C)

²⁴ I will drive out nations^(A) before you and enlarge your territory,^(B) and no one will covet your land when you go up three times each year to appear before the Lord your God.
