7 “Remember and never forget how angry you made the Lord your God out in the wilderness. From the day you left Egypt until now, you have been constantly rebelling against him. 8 Even at Mount Sinai[a] you made the Lord so angry he was ready to destroy you.

7 Remember this and never forget how you aroused the anger(A) of the Lord your God in the wilderness. From the day you left Egypt until you arrived here, you have been rebellious(B) against the Lord.(C) 8 At Horeb you aroused the Lord’s wrath(D) so that he was angry enough to destroy you.(E)
