¹⁵ The Lord will keep you free from every disease.^(A) He will not inflict on you the horrible diseases you knew in Egypt,^(B) but he will inflict them on all who hate you.^(C)

⁵⁸ If you do not carefully follow all the words of this law,^(A) which are written in this book, and do not revere^(B) this glorious and awesome name^(C)—the Lord your God—

⁶⁰ He will bring on you all the diseases of Egypt^(A) that you dreaded, and they will cling to you.
