⁴ When Christ, who is your^[a] life, appears,^(A) then you also will appear with him in glory.^(B)

⁵ Therefore, put to death what belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity,^(C) lust,^(D) evil desire, and greed,^(E) which is idolatry.^{(F) 6} Because of these, God’s wrath^(G) is coming upon the disobedient,^[b]
