Colossians 1:14-23
English Standard Version
14 (A)in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
The Preeminence of Christ
15 (B)He is the image of (C)the invisible God, (D)the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by[a] him all things were created, (E)in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether (F)thrones or (G)dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created (H)through him and for him. 17 And (I)he is before all things, and in him all things (J)hold together. 18 And (K)he is the head of the body, the church. He is (L)the beginning, (M)the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. 19 For (N)in him all the (O)fullness of God was pleased to dwell, 20 and (P)through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, (Q)making peace (R)by the blood of his cross.
21 (S)And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, (T)doing evil deeds, 22 he has now reconciled (U)in his body of flesh by his death, (V)in order to present you holy and blameless and (W)above reproach before him, 23 (X)if indeed you continue in the faith, (Y)stable and steadfast, not shifting from (Z)the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed (AA)in all creation[b] under heaven, (AB)and of which I, Paul, became a minister.
