¹⁸ And he is the head^(A) of the body, the church;^(B) he is the beginning and the firstborn^(C) from among the dead,^(D) so that in everything he might have the supremacy. ¹⁹ For God was pleased^(E) to have all his fullness^(F) dwell in him,

⁶ yet for us there is but one God,^(A) the Father,^(B) from whom all things came^(C) and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord,^(D) Jesus Christ, through whom all things came^(E) and through whom we live.

¹⁵ which God will bring about in his own time^(A)—God, the blessed^(B) and only Ruler,^(C) the King of kings and Lord of lords,^{(D) 16} who alone is immortal^(E) and who lives in unapproachable light,^(F) whom no one has seen or can see.^(G) To him be honor and might forever. Amen.^(H)
