Amos 9:10-12

New International Version

¹⁰ All the sinners among my people
    will die by the sword,^(A)
all those who say,
    ‘Disaster will not overtake or meet us.’^(B)

“I will restore David’s^(C) fallen shelter^(D)—
    I will repair its broken walls
    and restore its ruins^(E)—
    and will rebuild it as it used to be,^(F)
12 so that they may possess the remnant of Edom^(G)
    and all the nations that bear my name,^[a](H)”
declares the Lord, who will do these things.^(I)
