Acts 2:6-13

6 And when (A)this sound occurred, the crowd came together and they were bewildered, because each one of them was hearing them speak in his own [a]language. 7 (B)They were amazed and astonished, saying, “[b]Why, are not all these who are speaking (C)Galileans? 8 And how is it that we each hear them in our own [c]language [d]to which we were born? 9 Parthians, Medes, and Elamites, and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea, and (D)Cappadocia, (E)Pontus and [e](F)Asia, 10 (G)Phrygia and (H)Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya around (I)Cyrene, and [f](J)visitors from Rome, both Jews and [g](K)proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own [h]tongues of the mighty deeds of God.” 12 And (L)they all continued in amazement and great perplexity, saying to one another, “What does this mean?” 13 But others were jeering and saying, “(M)They are full of [i]sweet wine!”
