⁸ But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;^(A) and you will be my witnesses^(B) in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria,^(C) and to the ends of the earth.”^(D)

³³ With great power the apostles continued to testify^(A) to the resurrection^(B) of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace^(C) was so powerfully at work in them all

⁴² Day after day, in the temple courts^(A) and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news^(B) that Jesus is the Messiah.^(C)

³¹ Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria^(A) enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers.^(B)

²⁸ “Therefore I want you to know that God’s salvation^(A) has been sent to the Gentiles,^(B) and they will listen!” ^[29] [a]

³⁰ For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him. ³¹ He proclaimed the kingdom of God^(C) and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness^(D) and without hindrance!
