29 “[a]Brothers, I may confidently say to you regarding the (A)patriarch David that he both (B)died and (C)was buried, and (D)his tomb is [b]with us to this day. 30 So because he was (E)a prophet and knew that (F)God had sworn to him with an oath to seat one [c]of his descendants on his throne, 31 he looked ahead and spoke of the resurrection of the [d]Christ, that (G)He was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did His flesh [e]suffer decay.

29 “Fellow Israelites,(A) I can tell you confidently that the patriarch(B) David died and was buried,(C) and his tomb is here(D) to this day. 30 But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne.(E) 31 Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay.(F)
