Acts 11:26-28

26 And when he[a] found him,[b] he brought him[c] to Antioch. And it happened to them also that they met together for a whole year with the church and taught a large number of people.[d] And in Antioch the disciples were first called Christians.

27 Now in those days prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. 28 And one of them named[e] Agabus stood up and[f] indicated by the Spirit that a great famine was about to come over the whole inhabited earth (which took place in the time of Claudius).

26 and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples(A) were called Christians first(B) at Antioch.

27 During this time some prophets(C) came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. 28 One of them, named Agabus,(D) stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world.(E) (This happened during the reign of Claudius.)(F)
