27 (A)When Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled in the direction of Beth-haggan. And Jehu pursued him and said, “Shoot him also.” And they shot him[a] in the chariot at the ascent of Gur, which is by (B)Ibleam. And he fled to (C)Megiddo and died there.

29 (A)In his days (B)Pharaoh Neco king of Egypt went up to the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates. King Josiah went to meet him, and Pharaoh Neco killed him at (C)Megiddo, as soon as he saw him. 30 (D)And his servants carried him dead in a chariot from (E)Megiddo and brought him to Jerusalem and buried him in his own tomb. (F)And the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and anointed him, and made him king in his father's place.
