23 ¶ In the fifteenth year of Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah, was Jeroboam the son of Joash made king over Israel in Samaria, and reigned one and forty years.
24 And he did evil in the sight of the Lord: for he departed not from all the [a]sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin.
25 He restored the coast of Israel, from the entering of Hamath, unto the sea of the wilderness, according to the word of the Lord God of Israel, which he spake [b]by his servant Jonah the son of Amittai the Prophet, which was of Gath Hepher.
