⁷ Then David said to him, “Do not be afraid, for ^(A)I will assuredly show kindness to you for the sake of your father Jonathan, and I ^(B)will restore to you all the ^[a]land of your ^[b]grandfather Saul; and ^(C)you yourself shall ^[c]eat at my table regularly.”

¹³ So Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem, because ^(A)he ate at the king’s table regularly. And ^(B)he was disabled in his two feet.

⁷ However, ^(A)show kindness to the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, and ^(B)let them be among those who eat at your table; ^(C)for ^[a]they assisted me when I fled from Absalom your brother.
