16 And what agreement hath the Temple of God with idols? (A)for ye are the Temple of the [a]living God: as God hath said, (B)I will [b]dwell among them, and walk there: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 (C)Wherefore come out from among them, and separate yourselves, saith the Lord, and touch none unclean thing, and I will receive you.
18 (D)And I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?(A) For we are the temple(B) of the living God.(C) As God has said:
“I will live with them
and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they will be my people.”[a](D)
17 Therefore,
“Come out from them(E)
and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you.”[b](F)
