5 We are destroying arguments and all (A)arrogance raised against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the (B)obedience of Christ, 6 and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever (C)your obedience is complete.
7 [a](D)You are looking at [b]things as they are outwardly. (E)If anyone is confident in himself that he is Christ’s, have him consider this again within himself, that just as he is Christ’s, (F)so too are we.

5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God,(A) and we take captive every thought to make it obedient(B) to Christ. 6 And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.(C)
7 You are judging by appearances.[a](D) If anyone is confident that they belong to Christ,(E) they should consider again that we belong to Christ just as much as they do.(F)
