² But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. ^3 (A)The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband.

^5 (A)Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, ^(B)so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

³ For this is the will of God, ^(A)your sanctification:^{[a] (B)}that you abstain from sexual immorality; ⁴ that each one of you know how to control his own ^(C)body^[b] in holiness and ^(D)honor, ⁵ not in ^(E)the passion of lust ^(F)like the Gentiles ^(G)who do not know God;
