²⁵ For He must reign ^(A)until He has put all His enemies under His feet. ²⁶ The last enemy that will be ^(B)abolished is death. ²⁷ For ^(C)He has put all things in subjection under His feet. But when He says, “^(D)All things are put in subjection,” it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him. ²⁸ When ^(E)all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that ^(F)God may be all in all.

³⁸ Then He *said to them, “^(A)My soul is deeply grieved, to the point of death; remain here and ^(B)keep watch with Me.”

³⁹ And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let ^(C)this cup pass from Me; ^(D)yet not as I will, but as You will.”
