1 Peter 5:6-10
New American Standard Bible
6 Therefore (A)humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time, 7 having cast all your (B)anxiety on Him, because He cares about you. 8 (C)Be of sober spirit, (D)be on the alert. Your adversary, (E)the devil, prowls around like a roaring (F)lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 [a](G)So resist him, (H)firm in your faith, knowing that (I)the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your [b]brothers and sisters who are in the world. 10 After you have suffered (J)for a little while, the (K)God of all grace, who (L)called you to His (M)eternal glory in Christ, will Himself (N)perfect, (O)confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
