¹⁴ The sons of Moses the man^(A) of God were counted as part of the tribe of Levi.

¹⁵ The sons of Moses:

Gershom and Eliezer.^(B)

¹⁶ The descendants of Gershom:^(C)

Shubael was the first.

¹⁷ The descendants of Eliezer:

Rehabiah^(D) was the first.

Eliezer had no other sons, but the sons of Rehabiah were very numerous.
