³⁹When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate^(A) and cried, “The Lord—he is God! The Lord—he is God!”^(B)

³⁹And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God.

³⁹Many of the Samaritans from that town^(A) believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.”^(B)

³⁹And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
