⁵Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

New International Version

⁵The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart^(A) and a good conscience^(B) and a sincere faith.^(C)

¹⁹Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

¹⁹holding on to faith and a good conscience,^(A) which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith.^(B)
