17 And David [a]slaughtered them (A)from the twilight [b]until the evening of [c]the next day; and not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men who rode on (B)camels and fled. 18 So David (C)recovered all that the Amalekites had taken, and [d]rescued his two wives. 19 And nothing of theirs was missing, whether small or great, sons or daughters, plunder, or anything that they had taken for themselves; (D)David brought it all back. 20 So David had [e]captured all the sheep and the cattle which the people drove ahead of [f]the other livestock, and they said, “(E)This is David’s plunder.”

18 And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives.

19 And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.

20 And David took all the flocks and the herds, which they drave before those other cattle, and said, This is David's spoil.
