1 Peter 2:7-8

⁷So the honor is for you who ^(A)believe, but for those who ^(B)do not believe,

^(C)“The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone,”^[a]

⁸and

^(D)“A stone of stumbling,
and a rock of offense.”

They stumble because they disobey the word, ^(E)as they were destined to do.

“A stone that causes people to stumble
