⁷ I will cut off Israel from the land I gave them,^(A) and I will reject^[a] the temple I have sanctified for my name.^(B) Israel will become an object of scorn and ridicule among all the peoples.^(C)

⁵ But if you do not obey these words, then I swear by myself^(A)—this is the Lord’s declaration—that this house will become a ruin.’”^(B)
