²¹ So he returned from following him, and took the pair of oxen and sacrificed them, and ^(A)cooked their meat with the implements of the oxen, and gave it to the people and they ate. Then he got up and followed Elijah and served him.

⁴ *got up from supper and *laid His outer garments aside; and He took a towel and ^(A)tied it around Himself.

Jesus Washes the Disciples’ Feet

⁵ Then He *poured water into the basin, and began ^(B)washing the disciples’ feet and wiping them with the towel which He had tied around Himself.

¹³ You call Me ^(A)‘Teacher’ and ^(B)‘Lord’; and ^[a]you are correct, for so I am. ¹⁴ So if I, ^(C)the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
