Proverbs 2:12-22

¹² To ^(A)rescue you from the way of evil,
From a person who speaks ^(B)perverse things;
¹³ From those who ^(C)leave the paths of uprightness
To walk in the ^(D)ways of darkness;
¹⁴ Who ^(E)delight in doing evil
And rejoice in the perversity of evil;
¹⁵ Whose paths are ^(F)crooked,
And who are devious in their ways;
¹⁶ To ^(G)rescue you from the strange woman,
From the ^(H)foreign woman who flatters with her words,
¹⁷ Who leaves the ^(I)companion of her youth
And forgets the ^(J)covenant of her God;
¹⁸ For ^(K)her house sinks down to death,
And her tracks lead to the ^[a]dead;
¹⁹ None ^(L)who go to her return,
Nor do they reach the ^(M)paths of life.
²⁰ So you will ^(N)walk in the way of good people
And keep to the ^(O)paths of the righteous.
²¹ For ^(P)the upright will live in the land,
And ^(Q)the blameless will remain in it;
²² But ^(R)the wicked will be eliminated from the land,
And ^(S)the treacherous will be ^(T)torn away from it.
