Deuteronomy 20:7-8

^7 (A)And who is the man that is ^[a]betrothed to a woman and has not ^[b]married her? Let him go and return to his house, otherwise he might die in the battle and another man would ^[c]marry her.’ ⁸ Then the officers shall speak further to the people and say, ‘^(B)Who is the man that is afraid and fainthearted? Let him go and return to his house, so that ^[d]he does not make his brothers’ hearts melt like his heart!’
