Psalm 119:73-137

⁷³^(A)Your hands made me and ^[a]fashioned me;
^(B)Give me understanding, so that I may learn Your commandments.
⁷⁴May those who ^[b]fear You ^(C)see me and be glad,
Because I ^[c]^(D)wait for Your word.
⁷⁵I know, Lord, that Your judgments are ^(E)righteous,
And that You have afflicted me ^(F)in faithfulness.
⁷⁶May Your favor ^[d]comfort me,
According to Your ^[e]word to Your servant.
⁷⁷May ^(G)Your compassion come to me so that I may live,
For Your Law is my ^(H)delight.
⁷⁸May ^(I)the arrogant be put to shame, because they lead me astray ^(J)with a lie;
But I shall ^(K)meditate on Your precepts.
⁷⁹May those who ^[f]fear You turn to me,
And those who know Your testimonies.
⁸⁰May my heart be ^[g]^(L)blameless in Your statutes,
So that I will not ^(M)be ashamed.

Kaph

⁸¹My ^(N)soul languishes for Your salvation;
I ^[h]^(O)wait for Your word.
⁸²My ^(P)eyes fail with longing for Your ^[i]word,
^[j]While I say, “When will You comfort me?”
⁸³Though I have ^(Q)become like a wineskin in the smoke,
I do ^(R)not forget Your statutes.
⁸⁴How many are the ^(S)days of Your servant?
When will You ^(T)execute judgment on those who persecute me?
⁸⁵The arrogant have ^(U)dug pits for me,
People who are not in accord with Your Law.
⁸⁶All Your commandments are ^(V)faithful;
They have ^(W)persecuted me with a lie; ^(X)help me!
⁸⁷They almost destroyed me on earth,
But as for me, I ^(Y)did not abandon Your precepts.
⁸⁸Revive me according to Your faithfulness,
So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.

⁸⁹^(Z)Forever, Lord,
Your word stands in heaven.
⁹⁰Your ^(AA)faithfulness continues ^[k]throughout generations;
You ^(AB)established the earth, and it ^(AC)stands.
⁹¹They stand this day by Your ^(AD)ordinances,
For ^(AE)all things are Your servants.
⁹²If Your Law had not been my ^(AF)delight,
Then I would have perished ^(AG)in my misery.
⁹³I will ^(AH)never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have ^[l]^(AI)revived me.
⁹⁴I am Yours, ^(AJ)save me;
For I have ^(AK)sought Your precepts.
⁹⁵The wicked ^(AL)wait for me to destroy me;
I will diligently consider Your testimonies.

Your commandment is exceedingly broad.

It is my ^(AN)meditation all the day.
⁹⁸Your ^(AO)commandments make me wiser than my enemies,

⁹⁹I have more insight than all my teachers,
For Your testimonies are my ^(AP)meditation.
¹⁰⁰I understand ^(AQ)more than those who are old,
Because I have ^(AR)complied with Your precepts.

So that I may keep Your word.

For You Yourself have taught me.

Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

And a light to my path.

That I will keep Your righteous judgments.

Yet I do not ^(BE)forget Your Law.

Therefore I ^(BY)love Your testimonies.
¹²⁰My flesh ^[ac]^(BZ)trembles from the fear of You,

¹²¹I have ^(CB)done justice and righteousness;
Do not leave me to my oppressors.
¹²²Be ^(CC)a guarantor for Your servant for good;
Do not let the arrogant ^(CD)oppress me.
¹²³My ^(CE)eyes fail with longing for Your salvation,
And for Your righteous ^[ad]word.
¹²⁴Deal with Your servant ^(CF)according to Your graciousness,
And ^(CG)teach me Your statutes.
¹²⁵^(CH)I am Your servant; ^(CI)give me understanding,
So that I may know Your testimonies.
¹²⁶It is time for the Lord to ^(CJ)act,
For they have broken Your Law.
¹²⁷Therefore I ^(CK)love Your commandments
Above gold, yes, above pure gold.
¹²⁸Therefore I carefully follow all Your ^(CL)precepts concerning everything,
